We’re now hiring a Kitchen Manager to lead our evening kitchen operations, maintain our company culture, and look to the future with us. 

Job Summary:

The Kitchen Manager is a strategic, hands-on leader who oversees back-of-house operations while working closely with the ownership and management team. This person plays an important role in representing and growing an existing culture of community-centered craft food and beer, while supporting and developing a strong team of kitchen employees. We’re open to training the right candidate with leadership potential who is excited to grow into the role and support the restaurant side of our brewery.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily kitchen operations: service, quality control, and team coordination
• Lead and develop a team of kitchen employees
• Work closely with management and ownership to align culinary goals with company vision
• Maintain consistent food quality, sanitation, and presentation standards
• Collaborate on menu planning with a focus on seasonal offerings and beer pairings
• Foster a respectful, inclusive, and growth-minded kitchen culture
• Represent Newaygo Brewing Co. values inside the kitchen and in the broader community

Qualifications:

• Kitchen leadership experience is preferred, but we’re willing to train a high-potential candidate
• Strong team leadership and communication skills
• Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  
• Servesafe Certification preferred, but we’re willing to train a high-potential candidate
• Passion for hospitality, craft food, and people
• Emotionally intelligent leadership style and commitment to team development
